How to Solve Spades Puzzles - Set I
- You are shown all four hands of a
deal.
- You are always South, partnered with
North.
- Your team is given a goal, such as
winning a stated number of tricks, or beating the opponents' nil.
- You play both North's cards and your
own, in turn, while also deciding the best plays for East and West.
- You have successfully solved the
puzzle if you can achieve the goal of the hand despite the best efforts by
the opponents.
These puzzles are offered in the spirit of fun and to test your wits.
They may have little relevance to live Spades play because, especially in
the advanced puzzles, the winning line is not likely to be found in
over-the-table play.
Enjoy!
