When South led the eight of clubs, West committed the cardinal sin of trumping in second position. East could do nothing more constructive than to click his mouse on the club seven. A diamond return went to the king and ace, and South amused himself by leading a second club. East could only gnash his teeth as West merrily trumped again.

A heart went to North's ace and a diamond was won by South's ten. Of course, South continued clubs. West ruffed for the third time, but the East-West bid was already beyond hope, as was East's self-control. North-South added two spade tricks to go with their six red-suit winners, for a crushing set.

It is clear that West must discard on the opening lead. East takes three club winners, and can set North-South either by leading a fourth high club or by exiting and waiting for a diamond trick. After the end of the game, three players added West to their "Do Not Play With This Idiot" lists.
