for October
Oct 1 Weekly family spades game cancelled until further notice. Deck has 51 cards. Oct 3 Tried this Yahoo thing. Need to come up with a password. Oct 9 Actually played Spades over Internet! Cool. Lost both games, though. Oct 11 Must find out what an asl is. Oct 15 Played with a 2156 player. Can't figure out how we won all games - he was always leading spades!! - stumbled into game where deuces were spades! Never heard of such a thing! Oct 18 Visited Master Spades website again. I still don't get it. Oct 22 Missed work yesterday - was playing Spades for 28 hours straight. Oct 26 Found missing 4 of clubs in washer. Invited Clem and Bessie for Friday night. Oct 28 Suggested we play "2's high." They left early. Oct 31 Gave all trick-or-treaters a deck of cards. Nov 1 Yard scattered with cards. |
